In the first quarter of 2023, the top maps and navigation apps in Ghana demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared during this period.

Circuit Route Planner experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $7 in the final weeks of March. However, its weekly downloads fluctuated, starting strong with 7 downloads in the last week of December but dwindling to almost no downloads by the end of the quarter.

Handy GPS showed a notable rise in weekly revenue, reaching $17 by the last week of March. The app’s weekly downloads were consistent, with a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at 4 downloads in the week of February 20.

Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies saw a stable weekly revenue trend, maintaining around $4 to $5 throughout the quarter. Its weekly downloads, however, were minimal, with only a few weeks showing any activity, such as 2 downloads in early March.
